Updates!
Well, 2009 has been going by so fast. Here we are almost in April! WOW!!!! School is going great! I’m busy! I don’t get to do as much with the kids! They have adjusted though! I can’t wait for SUMMER!!!! We are all ready for a break I think!
I did get a pretty cool little Spring Break though! I went to Temple to visit some of my very close friends and spent the night! My kids came with me. A friend that I have known for about 3 years from our mommy forum flew to Dallas and met us in Temple for lunch. Another girl on our forum also met us for lunch whom I hadn’t met. It was nice to meet both of them!!! The kids definitely outnumbered us!!!
Spring Break we also headed to Galveston. If you remember, back in September 2009, we had a major Hurricane hit our area. Hurrican IKE!!! Galveston is still booming and thriving! Thank GOD! The beaches are cleaned up, and they are actually restoring them and adding more sand.
We had a blast when we went during Spring Break. The kids loved it. The water was a little chilly but they didn’t care. They were having too much fun. I was really surprised that the beaches were PACKED with Spring Breakers too!
