May? HUH?

School’s OUT for tha Summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m excited to announce that I have completed block I, of my degree plan, to become an EC-6 teacher in Texas!

I worked VERY hard this semester and I’ve made straight A’s again!

I was a bit emotional tonight after I walked out after my last final and some friends, who also are in block I,  said, “YEA WE DID IT GIRLS!!! BLOCK ONE IS OVER! WE DID IT!”  It was amazing because we have all worked so hard.  It was a very overwhelming semester that got easier and easier as we became accustomed to the hustle and bustle of it all.

The light at the end of this LONG tunnel is almost over for me.  I knew one day I would graduate college, but the end seemed so far away.  It has taken me quite a while to get my degree because I did it the hard way, I got married and had children while attending college.

God knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom while my kids were babies, toddlers and pre-school aged, so really this has all worked out the way it was supposed to!

Next SPRING, I will have my college diploma!  What is even more exciting than that is I will be certified before I even graduate!  On June 27th, I will be taking one of my exams to be a certified teacher in Texas.  It will be a difficult test. I am going to start studying for it come Monday!  I have taken 2 practice tests and passed them both,  but I really want to have a better score.

I hope to be updating more since school is out!  I will be updating on the kids and what I plan to do this summer!
